Baguette TV - Quiksilver Festival Day 3
“Are you kidding me?! It’s as good as it gets!” -Jeremy Flores
Day and night, the Quiksilver Festival has been pumping!
The other night, there was the Surfers of Fortune party where “Shimmy Disco” was host Dj and down the road Noa Deane’s premiere of his new film “Munch” were happening. All of the southwest of France and anyone traveling through the area was there. The Carlsberg’s were cold and after another hectic day of giant slabs the crew from the Quik Festival had earned themselves a few cold dogs. Of course there were a few late arrivals and sleep ins the next morning, but not to fret, the tide did its thing and the waves turned on at the perfect time for Day 3.
Coco Ho got one of the best waves of the morning with a stylish tube followed up with a couple of her patented swoops on a big French wall. In the afternoon, the man of the hour, Jeremy Flores got the first perfect 10 of the event with a long drainer that he came flying out the end of. Right behind him was his compatriot Marc Lacomare on another 10-point ride of his own. The crowd couldn’t believe their eyes and I don’t think that the surfers could either. It’s been a dream week in France so far and there’s still more to go.
