Best Sections of All-Time: Parko in 3 Degrees

He has the most emulated and talked about style of the last 20 years. He was a mainstay on the World Tour and was simultaneously putting out vids like 3 Degrees and Trilogy. He goes by a single name (Parkooooooo!) and we all wish we could have an ounce of his approach.

As he says in Trilogy, he comes from the most crowded wave in the world but his style is as nonchalant as anyone. Effortless and pleasing to the eye.

3 Degrees was our introduction to the Cooly kids — Dean Morrison, Parko and Mick Fanning — and the surf world was never the same. Parko brought style and all the charm a youthful Aussie charm one can handle. Trilogy was our introduction to the legend and this past weekend he had us all misty-eyed following his performance at all-world playful Snapper this past weekend during the Usher Cup World Club Challenge. —Travis Ferré
