Best Sections of All-Time: Ozzie Wright and the Unicorn from Planet Zorb

After years of creating ground breaking films, Taylor Steele wanted to try something new. So he handed the keys over to his audience.

Innersection was born in 2009 and offered up $100K to the surfer/filmmaker duo that created the best section within the year. Tons of entries poured in and plenty of surfer/filmmaker duos were born. Some of the usual suspects were accompanied by new filmmakers and vice versa — exactly what Taylor hoped for with Innersection.

Though already quite well know by this time, Ozzie Wright embraced this new opportunity to apply his brand of creativity to give us something totally unexpected. We got “Ozzie Wright and the Unicorn from Planet Zorb” featuring Ozzie riding his pet Unicorn Rainbow and getting absolutely drained in Indonesia. Even the song was made by him and some friends. It almost feels like you’re watching an MTV music video sometimes.

*Sadly Ozzie and Rainbow didn’t win the $100K, but it looks like they had fun in the process.
