Pictures from the world premiere of Craig Anderson’s new film in Los Angeles, CA
It was a Thursday night in late-May , but downtown Los Angeles was crawling with surfers. A ride up the elevator and you might be accompanied by Alex Knost, Bruce Irons and Christian Fletcher while the ride down could have included Craig Anderson and Mitch Coleborn. The gathering was for the World Premiere of Craig’s new 20-minute film, “The Quieter You Are The More You Can Hear.” And my fledgling new media company thing (Inherent Bummer) — I suppose you know this, you’re here — hosted the night alongside Former, HUF and Recess. We did it at The Ace Hotel in downtown LA. The night included a cranked up screening of the vid, a clunky introduction by two nervous dudes in dark clothing (myself and Craig) and a live performance by Flesh, a dark-wave goth outfit that includes Death Bells frontman Will Canning. And while none of us had seen each other in a while, we picked things up right where we left off. —Travis Ferré
