A Line We Love: The Crane Brain Collection by O'Neill

I will not name names, but surfers don’t always embody the brands they ride for. The job of the team manager and marketing team is to assemble a group of individuals who represent what you’re about, right? Well, that doesn’t always happen and you end up with clunky energy and surfers not wearing what they’re paid to wear. It’s awk. Which is why it’s nice when brands let the team riders make what they wanna wear, because you get products that actually embody the surfer, adding some refreshing energy at the same time — as is the case here with Ian Crane Crane Brain Collection, it’s a fun departure and remix on a classic cut of tees and trunks.

The Crane Brain Collection is directly inspired by Ian Crane’s style. His signature Hyperfreak boardshort and blends throwback styling with modern performance, while the graphics reflect his favorite “Spike” O’Neill logo from the ‘80s.
