Day 1 at the Inherent Bummer Factory by the Sea
As you sit down to read this, take comfort knowing that as the smoke settles on Day 1 of the Factory by the Sea, Day 2 is just getting underway. The smell of street tacos from our boy Gerardo are once again wafting over the California air as the sun slips down under it’s covers and we’re back at it. Again.
But back to last night. The kickoff of the Inherent Bummer Factory by the Sea presented by Hurley.
We kicked this Warhol-inspired multi-media Factory by the Sea event off with a banger night. Captain Fin introduced us to Alex Knost and Eithan Osborne’s new signature fins. Semi Truck kicked things off with a live set and were followed by an absolute house shaking set by The Mainliners. The pit swirled, the drinks spilled and everything we hoped would happen did.
As night fell — an absolute super moon rose — the movies began and Captain Fin’s “Any Vessel Will Do” kicked things off with a banger performance by Jesse Guglielmana — who you’ll remember from our one-off clothing pieces he does with us, including some new Chamber x Inherent Bummer pieces featured exclusively here at our Factory by the Sea — ripping in Mex.
After that, we got the grand finale: Noah Beschen’s long-awaited film “Noah”, which features 2 years of footage collected and some of the craziest airs we’ve ever seen and “that wave” from Teahupoo.
Things are just kicking off today, exclusive merch is dropping, Fortunate Stooge is playing, 2 Percent has a new edit and 805’s new film Convergence starring Conner Coffin, Nate Tyler and Greyson Fletcher. Day 2 is underway. See ya tonight and dont forget about tomorrow (live performance by Vaguess, new Lost video and the World Premiere of Surf Film 2.—Travis Ferré
