Photo Gallery: Reef's 40th Anniversary Party in Waikiki

In the shadow of Derek Ho’s 1993 World Title Trophy and his replica Pipe board at the perfect Romer Hotel Waikiki, Reef celebrated 40 years as a brand, simultaneously launching themselves into the future. What began as a poolside happy hour turned into a packed party of people enjoying the full-moon Friday the 13th celebration.

The night was made extra special by a presentation to Michael Ho and family of a beautiful framed photo of Derek Ho at Backdoor shot by Brent Bielmann. A truly special night of epic memories and stories.

Story of the night goes to Mason Ho of course who reminisced on the time he was chased by a bully as a kid, dropping his coveted pair of Reef’s in the process and his decision to risk being beaten up to go back grab them.
