Friday Night Flicks: The Master

I have some advice: If you ever get the chance to watch anything with Joaquin Phoenix or Phillip Seymour Hoffman I suggest you do it. I don’t care if it’s an infomercial or a mattress ad or a Paul Thomas Anderson film. You do it. They are masters of acting and whatever character they are playing — even if it’s a confused version of themselves — it is genius.

Tonight, I’d like you to skip the scroll and just hit play on PTA’s 2012 flick The Master, starring…you guessed it: Joaquin Phoenix AND Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Two for one!
