Go Hawaii Live with the O'Neill Team

You don’t miss ‘em til they’re gone. The team house video. Once the most ubiquitous vid there was for brands following Hawaii. Magazines and surf movies were filled with team videos and edits. We’d be inundated after a Hawaii season with more bright new boardshorts flying around Rocky Point and Pipeline than we knew what to do with….but now, in the land of Vlogs and YouTube algorithm control, they just don’t make ‘em like they used to….well, until tomorrow.

Tomorrow, (Friday at 10am PT to be exact) O’Neill is releasing their team vid called “Hawaii Live” and since we got a sneak peak and been following some of their updates all year, we thought we’d recap for ya below (or check their YouTube — which we can candidly say is one of the best brand YouTubes there is — for more).

This year in Hawaii they had Soli Bailey, Jordy Smith, Kolohe Andino, Shion Crawford, Eli Olson, Torrey Meister, Blayr Barton, Caity Simmers and Ian Crane all running through the doors of their North Shore house at some point. Throw in a couple Jaws missions for Eli and Torrey and you get a gnarly short film.
