Reel Talk: Eithan Osborne

Eithan Osborne might mess around and qualify for the 2023 World Tour. The Chapter 11 star and Dane Reynolds protege is into the round of 24 in Portugal after making the semis at the US Open and is now unexpectedly closing in on a qualification spot. Eithan is next in a line of blue collar competitive surfers from Ventura who have more talent than they really know what to do with.

Every session Eithan surfs comes with the possibility of something spectacular. It also comes with the possibility of him finding something more interesting happening in the parking lot, but that’s exactly why we love watching him.

We sat Eithan down on the Inherent Bummer grandma couch during the US Open and had him tell us about almost qualifying, Dane’s influence and what he’s been watching on TV in a new episode of Reel Talk. Keep an eye on him, he’s closing in on becoming your favorite antihero on the World Tour.—Travis
