The Bummer Rolls: September to December 2023

I tried to stay on top of the Bummer Rolls, but failed again miserably. I’m hopping back on the horse in 2024 though so get ready!

2023 was a blur, especially from about halfway through the year. I hardly knew it was summer, then Thanksgiving and then it’s Christmas and 2024 before you have a change to catch your breath. It was the most challenging year of my life and I’m happy to have it in the rearview now.

It’s challenging to navigate a business, having your body feel like it’s constantly falling apart, losing your grandmother and mother within a couple months of each other. I dragged through more than a couple of weeks last year. Looking back on the past few months putting this together helped me to reflect on more of the bright spots.

My family feels closer than ever before, I got to spend a few weeks in Hawaii, France, Portugal and Spain and I capped off the year in Hawaii again to celebrate with good friends at their wedding on NYE. Now I’m back in the saddle and ready to make 2024 our year! Let’s review through imagery.—Brandon
