I’d like to reiterate how thankful I am for all the nice feedback on this video. Whether you like a song, one clip, or one section, my goal was to hold back from the immediacy of posting instas/single edits and remember that it’s worth waiting & working on something that may take a while. When I was younger, to get siked we’d all watch surf movies that Taylor Steele or Kai Neville had made along with marine layer, 3slobs and other blogs everyday. Nowadays I think that everyone feels the need to create their own image and based on the surf films I loved growing up, the best times were when a bunch or rippers were all on a trip together or all friends surfing in a surf movie. So in our case, I wanted to make this video of all my friends, at home/on trips having a good time and surfing the globe no sponsors involved, to show that we like to surf and I like to film because we truly just love it. I obviously want to work with brands and companies in the future but as a base point and for my first longer film I thought it would best to make it our own piece for the soul reason of surfing and filming.
