We won two Awards at the LA Doc Fest for Race and Surfing: A Brief History with Selema Masekela

We always knew this was an important piece. Just to simply put this out there meant a lot to us. And the passion and enthusiasm with which director Jeremy Asher Lynch went at it with made it even more special.

Couple that with the incredible work done by artist and animator Claire Pinegar, phenomenal (and award winning) narration by Selema Masekela and detailed writing and research by Eleanor Sheehan, this piece was given high honors at the LA Doc Fest for 2022.

We won the for Best International Animated Documentary and Best Narration. These things are important and we’re stoked to be recognized and must thank Red Bull for giving us the opportunity with our series In Plain Sight to go out and make this.
