12 SONGS: "NO RULES" BY TANNER ROZUNKO
I shot friend of the site and fellow rock and roll enthusiast Tanner Rozunko a text last night to see if he’d be down to put together a last-minute playlist for the week ahead, with simple yet explicit instructions: 12 songs, no theme, no rules.
My thinking was that a fresh voice might bring with it a shift in mood and lead to some new discoveries on my end, but upon receiving said playlist, I was humbly reminded how much of my own musical diet stems from his; he introduced me to a lot of my favorites now, like The Saints, The Minutemen, Wipers, The Spits, The Boys Next Door etc… he was into Devo before they were hip (for the second time). The man has impeccable taste, you’ll see. —Jackson Todd
PS: He rips just as hard on bass as he does in the water. Have you heard The Rooms?
