“I had the VHS of this movie when I was a kid. I remember it was the last section in the movie before the wipeouts so it was easy rewind to on the tape haha! But I remember watching it and being like ‘Yeah, I want to do that one day!’ Trying to figure out where each spot he was surfing and having no idea that people even surfed in Indonesia haha and most of the movie was him surfing there. I remember thinking all of it was Kauai. But really watching that would amp me the F**k up and I would try to copy everything Andy did in the part. I pretty much watched that section my whole life and still do today. I just always wanted to surf like how he surfed in that section. And the song is f**ken crazy!!”—Zeke Lau
