Best Sections of All-Time: Julian Wilson in Young Guns 3

My first time meeting Julian Wilson was at a house party in Newport Beach. The was the last person I would have expected to bump into that night, but Quiksilver had been on a rampage with the Young Guns film series and their latest release, Young Guns 3, had just shocked the world.

Each new film in the series raised the bar from the previous. Wild rumors swirled about some of the extravagant details of the trips, most of which turned out to be true. Helicopters, jet skis, the best boats in the Ments with Dane Reynolds, Kelly Slater, Marzo and others with all the access to the best waves you could ever find out there. 

I gushed about Julian, his puka shells, and his Stranger Than Fiction part about a year ago, but his part in YG3 was where my obsession first began. He looked like he walked off of the cover of a magazine and surfed the way you wish you could. It wasn’t something he tried to do, it was just what he did.
