Watch Juliette Lacome in Reborn (the movie)

On my recent trip to France I met up with French surfer Juliette Lacome at “The Doll House.” During the Quiksilver Festival it’s where all the girls were staying and it was clear they were living a dream life. It was written all over anyone staying at that houses face. There must have been something in the croissants. That or surfing and hanging with your friends in France is as good as it gets.

Juliette told me a bit about film that she had been working on that was almost finished called Reborn. Her story of spending the summer dry-docked on the couch and how it made her fall back in love with surfing more than ever.

Once she was back in action she called up some pals and headed to Iceland, Morocco and all around France to shoot. Sometimes our darkest times can illuminate the path forward.
