The Bummer Rolls: June Camera Dump

A lot happens in a month.

I went to the Surf Ranch Pro and witnessed the whole scoring debacle first hand, got fined by WSL, and lost about 30 games of corn hole between rounds and by the end of the month ELo is gone from WSL and all seems turbulent on tour…

While they figure it out (hopefully) we dug in to bring you more music, art, films and ways to guide you through your future trip to Brazil.

We subject ourselves to long surfless hikes to Trestles, complete with sunburns, to watch groms ripping Lowers at the US Champs. Found snakes under our car and a savage squirrel tried breaking into our house. Waved our goodbyes to Cormac McCarthy and were reminded to never let anything hold us back from being amazing, even if you get hit by a truck like Frida Kahlo did.

Everything else here is whatever happened in between all of it that kept us fired up. That’s “the journey” they say. —Brandon
