Juliette Lacome recently became our favorite surfer to live vicariously through. She’s everywhere we want to be. But over the past summer, Juliette went through a pretty major hardship. After discovering a bone tumor in her leg, she went under the knife who deal with it. A period of unknowns for the young French surfer.

Lucky for us, after a long recovery, she’s back surfing and no doubt ready to gallivant around the globe again. Her new vid chronicles her return to the water and recounts the summer she’d probably rather forget — but faced head on. We’re stoked she's back — now can get back to following her around the world, vicariously living the dream of a beautiful French freesurfer.—Travis Ferré
